DAY company is an initiative of the Artistic Director of Dance Athens, Ilias Bageorgos.

Its goal is to activate the first professional steps of a new dance community by giving young dancers the opportunity to join a company in their own country, Greece.

The purpose of DAY company is to form a group of selected dancers, creating new works and reviving repertory pieces by internationally acclaimed choreographers.

DAY company launched its first project on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Maria Callas, with the performance Marias Callas, which began its performance journey in Athens and Paris in the autumn of 2023.
